Grace Botelho at 39 Azalea Drive in Dartmouth isn’t the only one getting in the spooky spirit this year. This Halloween, homeowners all over the SouthCoast have transformed their yards into must-see drive-by displays and walk-through haunts for members of the community to enjoy.

This year, browse through this list of local yard haunts below and find a haunt near you or check out the photos below and make a trip to see them for yourself.

Most of these displays will be visible each night leading up to Halloween, so you don’t have to wait until the weekend to have some spooky fun. Pick a new place to visit with your family each night and make it a new tradition. You can look forward to an after-dinner spectacle that will have the kids in awe time and time again. What makes this activity so special is that it is free for everyone to peek at the displays. These homeowners went all out just because they love Halloween that much and want to make the holiday fun for everyone without expecting anything in return.

I visited Azalea Drive last week, but I loved it so much that I plan on stopping by again. This time, I’ll bring more of my family members to enjoy all the hard work that Grace Botelho put into her haunted yard. It really is spook-tacular. My four-year-old nephew will love it!
