Everyone loves the Wienermobile. There's just something about that giant hot dog on wheels that makes you smile when you see it coming down the road. This weekend, the Wienermobile is spending a lot of time in Amarillo.

We had a chance to talk with Tasty Tay and Cookout Colin this morning about their trip to Amarillo. You can hear the audio below. Pay attention for the details on a special "scavenger hunt" they have going on while they're in town.

Where To Find The Wienermobile This Week in Amarillo

Tasty Tay and Cookout Colin will be making stops at several events this week and weekend in the Wienermobile.

You'll find them tonight at the Grace Church Fall Festival from 6 PM - 9 PM. After that, their calendar gets really full.

They're going to be at Boo At The Zoo, the DHDC's Monster Bash, the Route 66 Cruise on Saturday. Plus they'll be making several other stops along the way.

What It Is Like Inside The Wienermobile

I love the inside of the Wienermobile. Everything is decorated exactly how you would expect it to be. The upholstery is all ketchup red and mustard yellow.

Embroidered Wienermobiles adorn the arm rests. The dash even has bun boxes.

Since Halloween is upon us, Tay and Colin had decorated the inside of the Wienermobile to match the season.

Special Edition Wiener Whistles

One of the best parts of their trip to Amarillo is the limited edition whistles they'll be handing out. These whistles glow in the dark, which is perfect for this time of year.

You'll want to be sure and snag one of these if you can. Rumor has it that there is a very limited supply of these whistles, and once they're gone...they're gone for good.

If you're worried you won't see the Wienermobile this weekend, don't be. If you're at any of the big events happening around town, there's a good chance you'll see them there.
