Christmas Wish Helps 1,628 Families Because of Your Generosity
The 45th annual WBKR Christmas Wish program is in the books. This season revealed just how many families are suffering and how committed our community is to help ease their pain. Let's take a look back at a very giving season.
As you continue to celebrate the holiday season just know that many precious girls and boys in the tri-state woke up with presents under the tree because of YOUR generosity. The need was apparent for so many of our neighbors this season. It's been another challenging year trying to navigate the pandemic, and so many are suffering.
Because of your efforts and generosity, 1,628 families in need received Christmas. Over 5,000 children had presents under the tree. Around 1,200 families had a Christmas meal on the table, and over 25,000 gifts were handed out this holiday season.
